QR Code Generator

Type or paste any text — a URL, a phone number, a short message — and this tool turns it into a scannable QR code right in your browser. Pick an image size (256, 512, or 1024 pixels) and an error correction level, then download the result as a PNG or copy the original text back out. There's no server round-trip: the code redraws as you type, with a short debounce so it doesn't regenerate on every keystroke.

For job seekers, the obvious use is on a printed resume or business card: a small QR code in the header or footer that links straight to your LinkedIn profile, portfolio site, or GitHub, so a recruiter can reach your work with one scan instead of typing a long URL by hand. Error correction controls how much of the code can be damaged or obscured and still scan correctly — L (about 7% redundancy), M (15%), Q (25%), and H (30%). Higher levels make the printed square denser but more forgiving of creases, smudges, or a slightly blurry print job, which matters more than it sounds for something that's going to live on paper in someone's bag or folder.

Everything happens client-side. Nothing you type is uploaded or logged, and the QR code itself doesn't route through any tracking or shortening service — it encodes exactly the text you gave it, permanently.
