What the interviewer probes in a hr executive interview

HR candidates are interviewed by people who interview for a living, and they notice a scripted answer instantly. The AI interviewer asks scenario questions — a harassment complaint, a manager who wants to fire someone today, a candidate who reneged — and scores whether your answer names a process, a judgement call and an outcome. "I would follow policy" is the answer that scores lowest.

Practise the scenarios out loud in order: what you would do first, who you would involve, what you would document. Then the process questions — onboarding, payroll inputs, compliance — where the score depends on specifics you can name without notes.

Rehearse these out loud

  1. 1A grievance you handled from complaint to closure, and what you documented.
  2. 2How you would respond to a manager demanding an immediate termination.
  3. 3Your onboarding process in six steps, with the one step most companies skip.
  4. 4A time you disagreed with a business head on a people decision and how you resolved it.

How a mock interview session runs

Your resume sets the questions, your answers set the score, and the report tells you what to fix while it’s still practice.

01

Pick a resume

The interviewer reads it, so the questions name your projects, your companies, your stack — the things a real interviewer would probe after reading your CV.

02

Set the role and difficulty

Add a target role or paste the job description, then choose how tough the interviewer plays: beginner, intermediate, advanced, or executive.

03

Check your mic and join

A quick device check, then you join like a real call. The mic is required; the camera is optional and your video never leaves your device.

04

Answer out loud

10 spoken questions in roughly 12 minutes. Stop talking and it moves on by itself — and your scorecard is ready the moment you hang up.

What your interview scorecard tells you

A single number can’t tell you what to change. Every answer in the session gets its own breakdown.

Four scores per answer

Content, structure, relevance and delivery, each 0–100 — so you know whether the problem is what you said or how you said it.

Pace and filler words

Words per minute and a count of the ums, likes and you-knows — the delivery habits nobody ever tells you about.

A verbatim transcript

Exactly what the interviewer heard, word for word. Reading your own answer back is half the coaching.

What worked, what to fix

Specific strengths and concrete improvements for every answer — not a grade, a to-do list.

A model answer to compare

Every question ships with an expandable model answer, so you can see the gap rather than guess at it.

Drill your weakest answer

One click sends your lowest-scoring answer into practice mode, where you can retry it until it lands.

Try the real thing free — then rehearse daily with Pro

Every free account gets one full 10-question mock interview and 3 practice sessions — enough to hear yourself answer and see the scorecard. A Pro pass makes it a daily rehearsal — sold as a one-time pass from $7 (₹199 in India), never a subscription, with no auto-renewal to remember to cancel.

HR Executive interview practice — questions

Yes — pick the role and paste a job description and the questions cover employee relations, hiring, compliance and exits. Choose your saved resume and it asks about the cases you have actually handled.
