What the interviewer probes in a sales executive interview

Sales interviews are auditions. The AI interviewer will ask you to pitch, then push back, then ask for your numbers quarter by quarter — and it scores delivery as hard as content, because a hesitant pitch loses the room before the words matter. Filler words and a slow pace show up in the scorecard; in a real interview they show up as "not confident".

Rehearse the pitch until it is 60 seconds and clean, then rehearse the objection handling: price, timing, "we already have a vendor". Then the honest ones — the quarter you missed and what you changed. Out loud, several times; this is the one role where repetition is the whole preparation.

Rehearse these out loud

  1. 1A 60-second pitch for the product you sell now — or the one the job description sells.
  2. 2Three objections answered in turn: too expensive, not now, happy with the current supplier.
  3. 3Your quota attainment for the last four quarters, with what drove the best and worst.
  4. 4A deal you lost, what you learnt, and what you did differently on the next one.

  • HR & Screening Round

Tell me about yourself and your sales journey so far.

  • Behavioral Round

Walk me through the biggest deal you have closed — start to finish.

  • Technical / Role Round

Roleplay: I am a prospect from our target segment. Pitch our product to me in two minutes.

  • Managerial & Final Round

How do you forecast? If I ask for your commit number for this quarter, how do you arrive at it?

How a mock interview session runs

Your resume sets the questions, your answers set the score, and the report tells you what to fix while it’s still practice.

01

Pick a resume

The interviewer reads it, so the questions name your projects, your companies, your stack — the things a real interviewer would probe after reading your CV.

02

Set the role and difficulty

Add a target role or paste the job description, then choose how tough the interviewer plays: beginner, intermediate, advanced, or executive.

03

Check your mic and join

A quick device check, then you join like a real call. The mic is required; the camera is optional and your video never leaves your device.

04

Answer out loud

10 spoken questions in roughly 12 minutes. Stop talking and it moves on by itself — and your scorecard is ready the moment you hang up.

What your interview scorecard tells you

A single number can’t tell you what to change. Every answer in the session gets its own breakdown.

Four scores per answer

Content, structure, relevance and delivery, each 0–100 — so you know whether the problem is what you said or how you said it.

Pace and filler words

Words per minute and a count of the ums, likes and you-knows — the delivery habits nobody ever tells you about.

A verbatim transcript

Exactly what the interviewer heard, word for word. Reading your own answer back is half the coaching.

What worked, what to fix

Specific strengths and concrete improvements for every answer — not a grade, a to-do list.

A model answer to compare

Every question ships with an expandable model answer, so you can see the gap rather than guess at it.

Drill your weakest answer

One click sends your lowest-scoring answer into practice mode, where you can retry it until it lands.

Try the real thing free — then rehearse daily with Pro

Every free account gets one full 10-question mock interview and 3 practice sessions — enough to hear yourself answer and see the scorecard. A Pro pass makes it a daily rehearsal — sold as a one-time pass from $7 (₹199 in India), never a subscription, with no auto-renewal to remember to cancel.

Sales Executive interview practice — questions

Yes. Pick the intermediate or senior level and the interviewer follows your pitch with pushback questions — pricing, competitors, timing — the way a sales manager would in a role-play round.
